Privacy
Privacy policy of Foundation H.O.O.R. — careful processing of personal case-file data, strict data minimisation, storage standards and your GDPR rights.
H.O.O.R. case files may contain sensitive data. Strict standards therefore apply to collecting, storing and sharing.
Principles
- Legal basis — personal data are processed only with a clear legal basis and for defined purposes.
- Data minimisation — we request only data necessary to assess and handle a case.
- Restricted access — case files are accessible only to staff handling the case.
- Security — storage and communication take place via secured systems.
- Retention periods — data are kept only as long as the case requires, then deleted under a fixed policy.
- Third parties — agreements on confidentiality and data processing are made with external experts.
- Data breaches — procedures exist for notification and handling of data breaches.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Send your request to our email address; we respond within the statutory period. A request for access to a government file is an independent statutory right (GDPR Article 15) that H.O.O.R.’s mediation never restricts.
